Perfect shallow water conditions with fish moving through the area.
Hot bite and happy crew! San and I headed out for an afternoon fall fishing trip around Butler Beach, with partly cloudy skies and the possibility of storms rolling through later. The water conditions looked promising as we launched for our backcountry adventure with Ray Chaters.
Once the stage was set, we worked the shallows targeting whatever was willing to bite in these productive waters. San managed to land a solid goldfish along with a nice mirror carp during our session. Butler Beach continues to produce consistent action for backcountry fishing, especially when you can read the water conditions and adjust your approach accordingly. We wrapped up the trip with great catches and smiles all around!
