Non-stop bites all day long! Suraj and their crew joined me for some fall hunting action starting midday with partly cloudy skies that turned into afternoon rain. We had perfect conditions to get y'all set up for some serious whitetail action in New York's prime hunting grounds.
With our gear rigged and ready, we focused on tree stand hunting and ground blind setups with strategic trail baiting. The whitetails were moving well despite the weather change, and we managed to tag a nice deer before the rain really started coming down. New York's diverse terrain gives us plenty of options for different hunting styles, and the afternoon activity was solid.
The crew had a blast working the stands and blinds! Even when we got a little winded by the shifting weather, the deer kept moving through our baited trails. We wrapped up the hunt with smiles all around, and nobody got skunked on this trip.
