Best hunting adventure at Butler Beach using diverse techniques from bow fishing to spear fishing - absolutely exciting day in partly cloudy conditions!
One for the books today! Sanjana and I headed out for a summer afternoon hunt with partly cloudy skies and storms brewing on the horizon. The conditions looked promising for our brush hunting adventure here in Florida with Ray Chaters.
Once the stage was set, we focused on still hunting through the thick cover, moving slow and quiet through the natural corridors. The push hunting technique worked well when we needed to move deer toward the posting spots at key funnels. Florida's dense brush country is perfect for this style of hunting since the thick cover forces wildlife into predictable travel routes.
Our patience paid off when we connected on a nice white-tailed deer, and later managed to bag a mallard that came through one of the funnel areas. The afternoon hunt wrapped up just as those storm clouds started looking more serious, but we had plenty to smile about.
If you're looking to experience Florida brush hunting, our hunted ground offers some of the best opportunities for white-tailed deer and waterfowl in the region. We specialize in still hunting and push hunting techniques that work perfectly in Florida's thick cover, and our knowledge of natural funnels and wildlife patterns gives hunters the edge they need. Whether you're after deer moving through the brush corridors or ducks using the waterways, Ray Chaters can put you in position for success. The summer and early fall months offer excellent hunting opportunities, and our afternoon hunts take advantage of peak movement times when animals are transitioning between feeding and bedding areas.
