Wild boar spotted foraging on the hillside - exciting hunting opportunity in Jacksonville!
Action-packed day from the get-go! Shrunga and their crew joined us for an afternoon brush hunt this August under partly cloudy skies here in Florida. The weather stayed comfortable throughout our session, making for solid hunting conditions as we worked the terrain with Ray Chaters.
Once the stage was set, we focused on still hunting and drive hunting techniques, posting at natural funnels where game typically moves through. The crew connected with both white-tailed deer and feral swine during our hunt. Florida's diverse habitat creates perfect opportunities for these techniques, with thick brush providing natural corridors that funnel wildlife right into position.
We wrapped up the hunt with smiles all around! The combination of posting strategies and drive hunting really paid off in these Florida woods, giving us multiple opportunities on both deer and wild hogs.
If you're thinking about coming out for your own brush hunting adventure, our hunted ground here in Florida offers some of the best mixed-species hunting you'll find. We specialize in still hunting and drive hunting techniques that work perfectly in this terrain, and the natural funnel systems provide consistent action throughout the season.
