Florida City Brush Hunting with Ray Chaters - December Action test

What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! Took Minitet out this December afternoon for some brush hunting down in Florida City FL, partly cloudy skies made for perfect conditions. We headed out around 1:00 pm for our winter hunt with Ray Chaters.

With our gear rigged and ready, we worked through different techniques to cover the ground right. Started with some still hunting to get a feel for the area, then switched over to drive hunting when we needed to move things along! The stand hunting really paid off later in the day, we had some good opportunities come our way. Butler Beach area gave us exactly what we needed for this type of hunting, the terrain worked perfect for our approach.

We didn't notch a tag on this hunt, but every hour in the field was worth it! Got busted a couple times but that's all part of the game, y'all know how it goes out there. The afternoon hunt kept us moving and we covered plenty of ground, wrapped up the day with smiles all around.
