Summer Spot-and-Stalk Success Delivers Double Deer Harvest!

What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! I took Shrunga out for a summer hunt in Florida, NY, starting our morning around 8:00 am. The partly cloudy skies with possible storms made for perfect hunting weather. Ray Chaters had us set up for a solid Hunt with Ray experience.

Once the stage was set, we used a mix of spot-and-stalk and stand hunting techniques to work the area. We managed to harvest both white-tailed deer and mule deer during our hunt. The Florida, NY terrain gives us great opportunities for still hunting when the conditions are right.

The diverse landscape around Florida, NY works perfectly for these hunting methods. We wrapped up the hunt with smiles all around! The combination of techniques really paid off in this area.
