Striped Bass Bonanza: Epic May Fishing off Butler Beach

Hey there! Just got back from an awesome fishing trip with Kumar out on the waters near Butler Beach, Florida. May's a great time to be out here, with the Striped Bass getting active as the water warms up. We kicked things off at 3:00 pm, heading out from Florida Florida under partly cloudy skies. The weather held up nicely, giving us a perfect afternoon on the water.

We started off trolling, hoping to entice some of those big Stripers. After a bit, we switched it up and tried some bottom fishing. The real game-changer was when we broke out the live bait. That's when things got exciting! Kumar hooked into a monster Striped Bass. This fish put up one heck of a fight, but Kumar stuck with it. When we finally got it in the boat, it measured a solid 35 inches! That's a catch to be proud of, for sure.

The Kaveri River Basin area where we were fishing was just teeming with life. Even when we weren't catching, there was plenty to see and do. We kept at it, mixing up our techniques between trolling, bottom fishing, and live bait. It's always fun to see which method will pay off on any given day. Kumar seemed to be having a blast, whether we were reeling in fish or just enjoying being out on the water.
