What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! Shrunga and I headed out this fall afternoon around Butler Beach with clear conditions throughout the day. The water conditions at Butler Beach were perfect for what we had planned, and I was ready to put Ray Charters to work on the inshore waters.
Once the stage was set, we focused our efforts on bottom fishing, jigging, and drift fishing to target the roach that call these waters home. Butler Beach provides excellent structure and current flow that makes these techniques particularly effective for inshore fishing. The combination of bottom fishing in the deeper pockets and jigging along the structure kept us busy throughout the afternoon. We wrapped up the trip with solid action and plenty of smiles all around!
If you're thinking about getting out on the water around Butler Beach, Ray Charters offers the Rock Sea experience that targets the productive inshore waters we fished today. These fall months provide excellent conditions for bottom fishing and jigging techniques, and the roach population stays active in the area. Butler Beach inshore fishing gives anglers the chance to work multiple techniques in a single trip, from drift fishing the current breaks to bottom fishing the structure. The afternoon bite can be particularly rewarding when conditions line up like they did today.
