Hot bite and happy crew! I took San out this August morning around 9:00 am for some solid hunting action in Florida. The partly cloudy skies with possible storms rolling in made for decent conditions as we headed out. Ray Chaters had us set up for a productive day in the field.
With our gear rigged and ready, we focused on spot-and-stalk techniques along with some jump shooting opportunities. San and I managed to connect with white-tailed deer, feral swine, and even got into some gemsbok action. Florida's diverse terrain gives us plenty of options for these hunting methods, and the mixed cover works perfect for stalking game.
We wrapped up the hunt with smiles all around! The combination of different species and varied techniques kept things interesting throughout the morning. Even with those storm clouds building, we made the most of our time in the field and put together a memorable hunt.
