Florida Airboat Hunt: Spot-and-Stalk Action Before the Rain

What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! Shohan and I headed out this September for a late morning hunt under cloudy skies that promised some weather later. The conditions looked perfect for what we had planned, and we were ready to make the most of our time in Florida before that afternoon rain rolled in.

Once the stage was set, we focused on spot-and-stalk techniques that work so well in this area. The cloudy cover gave us great opportunities for pass shooting when the moment was right, and we switched over to jump shooting as conditions changed throughout the day. We didn't notch a tag on this hunt, but every hour in the field was worth it! The rain hit us right when we expected, but that's just part of hunting down in gator country.
