Florida NY Flats: Pike & Trout on Sight Fishing Adventure

What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! Kumar and I headed out this summer afternoon around 3pm for some flats fishing down in the Florida NY area. The weather started nice but we could see clouds building for later with rain coming, water conditions at Butler Beach were looking good though. Perfect setup for what turned into a solid day of sight fishing and wade fishing!

With our gear rigged and ready, we worked the flats using sight fishing and wade fishing techniques, even did some poling to get into the right spots. Kumar picked up some nice Northern Pike and Rainbow Trout throughout the afternoon!
